FREE Resume/Cover Letter Reviews
If you are a college student or recent college graduate, or are new to writing resumes and cover letters, I am happy to review your resume/cover letter for FREE.
Eligibility:
You are a college student or recent graduate with a job target (i.e. you have you have a specific job, internship or graduate school to which you are applying, or you have a specific field or industry selected).
You graduated from college some time ago but are currently underemployed and want to find employment that better utilizes your college degree.
You are a college-educated parent returning to the workforce after an absence.
You have are writing your very first resume or cover letter and would like a second pair of eyes to review your documents.
Cost:
FREE - I do not provide a resume-writing service. I am a career counselor so my goal is to educate you on how to write resumes/cover letters for yourself.
If you are happy with the service provided, I would be honoured if you left a comment to that effect on this site, or on the Sweet Careers Facebook fan page.
I would also appreciate it if you encouraged people you know to subscribe to the blog and/or to the Sweet Careers Facebook fan page.
If you really think I should receive monetary reimbursement, click on one of the ads on the page (I'm told that I could eventually get a check from Google AdSense).

How it works:
Introduce yourself to me using the "Contact Me" button on the page or contacting me via Twitter. (I won't open attachments from people I don't know.)
E-mail me your
resume/cover letter draft as an attachment (PDF or Word). Watch the Resume Headers and Resume Objective Statements videos to get you started.
information about your job target - a job description would be great, or some information about your field/industry.
I'll provide a review of your resume either in a text response, brief video response (using Jing and Screencast.com) or both.
If needed, we can do an audio chat using Google Talk.
I will review subsequent drafts of your resumes/cover letters as needed.
